Welcome and InvitationLast year the Bosbaan Regatta with, for the second time the new concept, was very successful with a lot of participants, national and international. We will continue this on the 10th and 11th of June 2006. Therefore we are very pleased to invite you to improve your results of last year. Or if you were not there last year it is even more recommendable to come this year. Because of the succesfull Regatta in 2005 we keep the same competition-program with the 500 and 1000 m sprints and the Long distances over 10000 m and 5000 m. And the 200 m sprint will be the exciting final. To increase competition the entries for 500 m and 1000 m will be based on the best personal time for that distance. Seniors, Juniors and Aspirants will compete in two time-classes in stead of the A and B categories. To give everyone the opportunity to compete in a heat and a final, qualification will be based on recorded time in the heat. The fastest 9 competitors in the heats are qualified for the A final. The second 9 competitors are qualified for the B final and, depending on the number of competitors, there will be a C and D final. By this concept:
Last year we learned that by this concept the competition is more challenging and more interesting for all participants. Coming period you will find every information needed about the Bosbaan Regatta, the entries, the time-classes and all related subjects on this Website. As always you can camp with tent or caravan near the Bosbaan and we will improve the accomodation as much as possible.
